Andy Yun

Once a DBA, Andy is a Database Developer and self-proclaimed T-SQL performance junkie. Over the past decade, he has worked with SQL Server in highly transactional environments, in the trading and credit card industries. Leveraging knowledge of SQL Server Internals, Andy strives to make T-SQL leaner and meaner.

Andy is very passionate about the SQL Server community, is now an active Speaker at User Groups & SQL Saturdays, and a member of the SQL Saturday Chicago Organization Committee.

Lowry Kozlowski

Lowry has been a DBA for over 14 years and focused exclusively on SQL Server for for 8 years. Lowry currently works as a DBA consultant working to improve client’s SQL servers performance and environment. Designing and implementation of new solutions, and performance tuning are main focus. Mentoring and training internal team members on SQL processes and best practices are part of what makes my work enjoyable.

Regularly asked to speak at Dominican University to a former professor’s class to inspire new DBA’s and give them an understanding of a day in the life. Lowry started volunteering at SQL Saturdays a few years ago, and has attended every Chicago SQL Saturday session.
